Marky's offers a selection of certified kosher roe and caviar alternatives for customers seeking products that comply with kosher dietary requirements.
Traditional sturgeon caviar is generally not considered kosher because sturgeon do not meet the kosher requirements for fish under Jewish dietary law. As a result, roe harvested from sturgeon—including what is commonly referred to as "true caviar"—is not considered kosher.
To accommodate customers observing kosher dietary practices, we offer a variety of certified kosher alternatives of non-sturgeon caviar. Marky's Caviar strives to offer its valued customers a fine collection of 100% certified kosher caviars, including:
Marky's offers an additional selection of products that may be considered kosher by species, including certain roe varieties such as Bowfin Roe, Paddlefish Roe, Trout Roe, Whitefish Roe, Tobiko (Flying fish roe), and Masago (Capelin roe).
However, Marky's facilities are not kosher certified. As a result, any products that are repackaged, processed, or handled by Marky's cannot be represented or certified as kosher, regardless of the kosher status of the underlying species.
